December 2006 saw the Choir of London make a first appearance alongside the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of John Rutter, the UK’s best-known choral composer and conductor. The RPO’s annual contribution to London’s Christmas festivities, the concerts were this year staged at Westminster Central Hall. They proved to be as popular as ever, with a combined audience of over 4,000 attending the two back-to-back performances.
