A world-class arts festival in the Occupied Territories, the 2007 Palestine Mozart Festival brought together over 150 Palestinian and international performers for a series of events staged in Jerusalem, Ramallah, Bethlehem and Nablus.  One of the largest collaborative arts projects ever staged in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, the Festival featured 19 events staged over two weeks, including the following highlights:

- three collaborative performances of Mozart’s Requiem
- the first fully-staged opera production ever to tour the West Bank
- guest recitals by Palestinian and international soloists

Running alongside the Festival performance programme was a series of educational workshops for local music students, as well as a number of public academic lectures.

The local public response to the Festival programme was overwhelmingly enthusiastic, with total audiences well in excess of 3,000 people.
